It may be possible that I just got a bad copy of this book. For these types of reprints you have to expect some blemishes. However, the copy that I received had pages that were completely blank, and a bunch of pages that were very dark. I could not determine if this was because the pages were one-off printings and the printer was just set too dark, or if this was just the way all copies of this work is. But, be warned.
In general this publisher has good stuff (for example, I own the first volume in this series on the Eddas). Because most work done on Old Norse ends up published in German, those of us who don't speak German are relegated to accessing 19th century texts if you want a dual language edition.
If you must purchase this, you can always interlibrary loan a clean example and photocopy those pages, but I have to say for the cost of this volume, I did not feel that was justified.
