An Imperial Violet Vol. 1: The Sweet Sound of a Tongue, Forked ReviewA man is flung into another world after being flung through his windshield. The young man has a secret buried deep within himself and Khepera wishes to use this secret to his advantage. His traveling companions include a commander of the bonds of atoms, a sprite, a ninja-like speed demon, a mentally challenged Goliath, and a few others who pop-up in and out of the tale.
They are on a journey to combat an evil demon bent on creating havoc while searching for the party. They could've stayed where they were and fought the demon after it found them, but they needed some information from the Aeonian, Mortem, first... who has a town named in his honor.
The story carefully comes o a climax when the most beloved character is left in a mortal condition. The real question is: Will the only charater you want to live end up dead?
I know the answer, but i can't wait to see it in print. They way things happen are more important than what happens in this story.An Imperial Violet Vol. 1: The Sweet Sound of a Tongue, Forked Overview"You are not where you once were." Can we ever be sure that the world we know is all there is? Aerc may have found the key to a world unlike that which we have ever known: The worst pain imaginable. "This is Caspall, where the dying meet the dead." While in Caspall, Aerc meets a man with incredible power, Khepera. This man is worried about Aerc's arrival and gives him an ultimatum: "Join me, or die." These words ring true as Aerc finds himself in the midst of a battle between good and evil...or is there such a thing as good and evil? Volpanix is the beast which has been freed upon the unsuspecting souls of Caspall. "Volpanix was more demon than I could ever have imagined." Can Aerc defeat evil and make it back home?
