Twisted Alphabet: Tongue-Twisted Alphabet ReviewHow fortunate am I to have previewed this marvelous alphabet book? Now that it's available for sale I MUST have a copy to share with my students. The author/illustrator is a former member of my class who is ready to make it HUGE in the publishing market. I'm happy to help Hannah with her college fund by purchasing one of the very first copies of her effort! I hope that YOU will, too! Congratulations, Hannah!Twisted Alphabet: Tongue-Twisted Alphabet OverviewThis alphabet book has a tongue twister for each letter. In addition to being written by an 8 year old and illustrated by a 10 year old, children were used to construct each letter of the alphabet, hence creating a "Living Alphabet." This book is an excellent example of a digital photography project that classrooms around the world would love to do recreate! The tongue twisters are fun and leave children and adults laughing!

Every letter of the alphabet has its own page of as many as 7 or 8 tongue twisters along with illustrations. I received this digital copy from the publisher via NetGalley, and I couldn't be happier with the result. We all enjoyed looking at the illustrations, and we got many laughs trying out each tongue twister. There are some which are better than others, and I can see where some kiddos just won't be into this sort of thing. But, if you're like us and have a toddler that is into the constant chatter phase, this at least provides some new material. She's a bit young yet to make up anything on her own, but for our "overly-verbal" toddler, this has been a hit. Anthology of British Tongue Twisters ReviewI bought this book over fifteen years ago for a class on speaking for the theatre. I have used it so many times that the cover is nearly illegible and the pages are soft. It is excellent working on articulation and diction. The tong twisters are sorted by the alliterative initial sounds (grouped by similar location of production). So it is wonderful for practicing speech sounds/production. It is also great fun to use for group activities; endless laughs and learning together.Anthology of British Tongue Twisters Overview
