The author discusses in very broad terms several topics, (such as lighting), but there isn't enough detail to make them applicable. When This Key Sketch Gets Real Tongue Is Fork Hen Is Cock When This Key Sketch Gets Real My Baby Eagle's Dream Comes True ReviewI found this book by chance, in a bookstore in Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Staying here for the summer, I decided to check out the bookstore to hopefully discover some south Indian writers to keep me entertained and introduce me to the world of contemporary Indian literature. While I did manage to find some of what I was looking for, I was much more taken with the discovery of this contemporary Indian artist.
I was first drawn to the book by its title, but admittedly, I was a little afraid that it could be quasi-dadaist nonsense. Oh sure, there's something kind of resembling a dadaist approach here, perhaps, but there's also obviously the work of a truly skilled, gifted visual artist.
Natesh's drawings evoke similar imagery as some of Dali's line art, but its definitely no kind of imitation. What he's doing is very much his own thing. I'm not hip enough to the contemporary art world to make any obvious comparisons, but his aesthetic certainly would appeal to anyone who appreciaate unvconventional, psychedelic, or just plain weird stuff in any artistic medium.

We'moon: Gaia Rhythms for Womyn: Mending the Web ReviewThis date book is beautiful! I just love the full color and the moon phases. There's plenty of room to write day to day "to do" items. I'd feel good about pulling this datebook out of my purse throughout the year, and am giving one to a friend. The lay flat binding seems secure, and doesn't take up as much room in a purse as a spiral bound would.
Here's the problem. The calendar doesn't have any holidays listed in it. No Christian ones, or more specifically, the ones we are going to get off from a job. The pagan ones are there, but they aren't easy to see or find. I need to know when I am scheduling my life, what days fall where so that I don't schedule an event on an inappropriate day. So unfortunately, as beautiful and chock full of information this datebook is, I won't be carrying it. I bought another one from another company, a little more overtly "witchy" than this one, but it has all the information I need in a datebook.
So, bottom line, if you can live without listings of bank holidays, clearly marked pagan holidays, and the like, you'll enjoy this datebook. If like me, you need your datebook to notify you of important dates, this one might not work out for you either.We'moon: Gaia Rhythms for Womyn: Mending the Web Overview
